The Safeguarding Policies have been updated as of July 2020 for implementation from the start of the Connexional year. Model church policies can be accessed from the home page of this website under Documents (bottom right hand side of the Home Page).
Each Church is required to adopt the new 2020 Church Safeguarding Policy at the first Church Council meeting of the Connexional year..
Safeguarding Posters have been sent to the Superintendent Minister, Revd Hendry Ponniah, for each church. They should be displayed on the Church Safeguarding Notice Board. There is space to state where the whole policy is kept if anyone wishes to read it. If further copies are needed, they are available on the Methodist website. Click on the link below:
